Feb 08 "True" is having a great time at Melissa Wood's Training Facility . I had started her here at home for a Working Certificate and Rally Novice Obedience this past fall 07..  Melissa has further trained True for Rally Advanced and will be competing this spring with her. Melissa took her to the Sportsman Show held in Augusta and True was great with the crowds and all the folks milling around asking questions on training hunting dogs.

March 08 "Jasper" is training towards his Canine Good Citizenship Award. He will start Therapy dog visits as soon as he gets this title. I expect him to be certified as a Therapy dog come July when he reaches his first Birthday.

April 08 4/06/08  "True" earns her AKC Canine Good Citizenship Award with handler Melissa Wood at the Kennebec Valley Shetland Sheepdog Clubs ALL BREED FUN DAY. 4/15/08 "Jasper" earns his AKC Canine Good Citizenship Award at Double K Kanine Kare  Training Facility in Norway Maine.

May 08                               5/3/08 "True" places 2nd in Rally Nov. B with a score of 96 points in a class of 22! Handled and fine tuned by Melissa Wood at York County Kennel Club of Maine. 5/3/08 "Grear" our curly coated Retriever goes WB BOS for 2 points to finish her American Championship at York County Kennel Club of Maine. Thanks to my friend showing Grear , Donnah Brynger. 5/4/08 "True" places 4th in Rally Novice B with a score of 96 points in a class of 24 at York County Kennel Club of Maine.  Handled and fine tuned by Melissa Wood 517/08  "True" earns her Rally Novice title with a score of 99 and a 1st placement at Vacationland Dog Club of Maine with her handler/trainer/friend Melissa Wood. 5/18/08  "True" scores  88 pts in Rally Advanced.at the Vacationland Dog Club of Maine. Thank you,  Melissa Wood. 5/24/08 "True" earns her first UKC Started Retriever leg.  Handled by Melissa Wood Beech Hill Labrador Retrievers of Howland Maine. 5/25/08  "True" earns her second pass for her UKC Started Retriever title!  Way to go Melissa and True!

June '08 6/28/29  True earns her last ten points towards her UKC Started Retriever title. Way to go Melissa & Trueheart!

July '08 7/5 & 7/6/08  "True" earns her first two passes towards her JH at the Penobscot Hunting Retriever Club tests with handler/trainer Melissa Wood.      7/15/08   "Jasper" becomes a Certified Therapy Dog. 7/19/08  "True" earns her Working Certificate at Penobscot Hunting Retrievr test  with handler/trainer Melissa Wood Beech Hill Labradors. "Grear" , our curly coated retriever , also earns her Working Certificate with  owner/trainer Sue Humphrey.

AUG '08 8/23/08   "True" earns her 3rd JH pass at the PHRC test in Dover Foxcroft , Maine. 8/24/08   True" earns her AKC Junior Hunter title at the Penobscot Hunting Retriever Club test in Dover Foxcroft Maine. Big Thanks to Melissa Wood.

SEPT '08 9/1/08  "Grear" the curly coated retriever goes Winners Bitch at the Halifax Nova Scotia Curly Booster Show. Big Thanks to our curly friends in Canada for hosting Grear on her mini vacation.

OCT '08 10/5/08  "Jasper" earns his Working Certificate at the Penobscot Hunting Retriever Club event. Trained by owner Sue Humphrey  and handled at the test by Melissa Wood.
